Surf Patterns
At the Randall Town Meeting on July 27th, the Randall Town Board and Water Patrol approved the following Surf Pattern for Powers Lake as a temporary solution in an effort to keep the surf traffic in the deeper water.
The DPL is working with the Town to post new signage at both boat ramps along with some handouts for the Water Patrol, the Town, and the DPL to distribute in an effort to educate all users of the lake.
This is major a step in the right direction to protect & preserve Powers Lake for future generations.
Please inform ALL members of your family, guests, and renters if applicable of this change.
The Water Patrol has agreed to “encourage” all surfers to follow the new pattern.
